Quality Policy

NewAge Industries will, through teamwork and team learning, commit the appropriate resources to continually improve the effectiveness of the Business Management System, resulting in an enhanced customer experience. The improvements will be appropriate to the purpose of the organizational goals of satisfying our customers’ needs and delivering products defect free, on time, every time.

Our approach and attention to quality is company-wide – quality is part of everyone’s responsibilities – and when procedures and processes are followed, quality comes naturally. This organizational approach means that quality begins well before a product is examined by a member of the Quality Team.

Our Quality Team includes Inspectors, Calibration Technicians, Document Control Specialists, Continuous Improvement Engineers, Regulatory Compliance Managers, Quality Engineers, Environmental Monitoring Technicians, Sterility Assurance Specialists, and Supplier Quality Assurance Managers.

This team is complemented by our Engineering Group that helps us achieve consistent product quality. Process Engineers determine the best ways to set up, test, and run equipment. Applications Engineers help customers fit their needs to a product while avoiding overengineering. Design Engineers work with vendors (and vendors’ quality processes) and with customers involving material selection.

Strict quality standards are a necessity, and best practices are incorporated into our production and inspection processes. These processes are consistently monitored to ensure safety and the reliability of products. Quality inspections are conducted throughout the manufacturing process to ensure that parts meet each customer’s specifications.

Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety Policy

 

NewAge Industries Inc. aims to maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment while ensuring responsible operation of its products and services through continual improvement. The company strives to meet, and where possible, exceed business objectives based on the following percepts:

 

  1. The foundation of all processes is comprised of Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety based on ISO 9001/ 14001/ 45001 standards.
  2. The requirements of all interested parties are clearly understood, such that our products and services can be delivered in a timely and professional manner.
  3. This will be achieved by conducting appropriate assessments and implementing the necessary controls by promoting a process approach and risk-based thinking.
  4. All processes employed by NewAge Industries to deliver our products or services are determined, validated, resourced appropriately, documented, monitored, and measured to ensure compliance with:
    1. All applicable legal requirements and laws, and any other identified requirements
    2. Customer requirements
    3. Business objectives that also support sustainability commitments
  5. All employees are competent in their area of work through academic achievement or experience. Training is provided where appropriate.

 

The organization will continually identify its risks and opportunities and strive to eliminate all identified potential hazards and safety risks. The organization is also committed to protecting the environment by reducing waste, pollution, energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.

 

The Leadership Team is also committed to the following:

  • Providing a clear focus on priorities by establishing Guiding Principles that promote health, safety, security, quality, discipline, and continual improvement.
  • Taking accountability for the effectiveness of the established management system by participating in the monitoring and measurement of the performance by periodically reviewing through the management review process.
  • Making available the necessary resources to ensure that the management system remains effective in achieving business and quality objectives, conforming to the requirements of ISO standards.

This policy is communicated to all NewAge team members, is posted and reviewed, and is available to all interested parties. Team members and other organizations are expected to cooperate and assist in the implementation of this policy, whilst ensuring that their own work, so far as is reasonably practicable, is carried out without risk to themselves, others, or the environment, and meets or exceeds all interested parties’ requirements.  The organization has also implemented an internal audit program to ensure the ongoing suitability and conformity of the management system.
